DMCA and Copyright

Y2Mate respects copyright. We host no library of songs or videos and upload nothing ourselves: the tool only converts a link a visitor provides, and the resulting file is deleted automatically soon after. Even so, if your work has been run through the service and you want it addressed, a valid request will be acted on.

Sending a notice

Email [email protected] with "DMCA Notice" in the subject and include enough to identify and act on it:

• Your name, contact details, and the rights holder you represent.
• The copyrighted work, and the exact YouTube link or file involved.
• A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, an agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

Valid notices are handled promptly. Since converted files delete themselves after a short time, most cases come down to preventing a specific video from being converted again, which we can do.
