Using Y2Mate means you agree to the terms below. They are short by design, and it really comes down to one thing: use the converter responsibly, and only on content you are allowed to save.

Permitted use

Y2Mate is for personal use. Convert videos you created, videos that are free to share, or anything you have permission to download. Do not use it to infringe copyright. What you do with a file afterward is your responsibility.

Not allowed

• Automating the converter or running it in bulk.
• Getting around the length caps, rate limits, or any protection on the service.
• Anything against the law where you are, or against YouTube's own terms.

Provided as is

The service carries no guarantees. YouTube changes often, so occasionally a video will not convert or the site will be briefly down. We do not promise every video works or that Y2Mate is always available.

Liability

As far as the law allows, Y2Mate is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service or the files you create with it. You use it at your own discretion and risk.
